Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Assistant with Fire Industry experience to join our team in assisting with daily operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations and warehouse , managing resources efficiently, and driving continuous improvement & KPIs , recruitment and retention of existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within ateam of six to achieve operational goals.
  • Identify andimplement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all staff adhere to the PFS Management system.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance Directors to meet and exceed monthly invoicing targets.
  • Generate supporting information for Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, and Certification.
  • Prepare Fire Alarm handover packs, including O&M Manuals, Drawings, and modular documentation.
  • Optimize efficiencies by combining geography (travel time) and required time on-site for each task.
  • Liaise with Engineers to ensure workloads are allocated accordingly.
  • Provide first-class support and feedback to a diverse client base.
  • Administer bids from external client portals.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Fire Prevention & Protection Operations, specifically in Active, Passive, and Fire Door Installation and Maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analyticalmindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial principles is desirable.
  • Effectivecommunication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Essential: Microsoft Office Skills, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, GCSE English & Maths.
  • Desirable: Project Management Qualification or working towards it.
