Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm and Maintenance Engineer to join our established team based in High Wycombe, covering the South East of England with potential travel to other UK regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field-based role with most work within a 50-mileradius of the M25; willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight if required.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting, including fault identification and emergency call-outs.
- Accurately record data on company software and update asset registers.
- Maintain high standards of client care in face-to-face interactions, telephone calls, and emails.
- Ensure compliance with company systems.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure job sheets and reports are submitted timely.
- Identify additional client requirements.
- Optimize efficiencies by combining geography(travel time) and time required on-site per task.
- Liaise with other Engineers to ensure work loads are allocated accordingly.
- Provide first-class support and feedback to a diverse client base.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Proven experience in all aspects of Active Fire Alarms and Maintenance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to undertake training when required.
- System knowledge and experience with Apollo, Gent, Notifier, and Advanced systems.
- Electrical background.
- Collaboration with the Senior Active Manager to maintain continuous improvement.
- GCSE English and Maths.
- Clean driving license.
- Capable of carrying out complex fault-finding tasks across closed and open protocol systems.
