The Misbourne School

Fire Door and Compartmentation Works

The Misbourne school reached out to Panache Fire Services to help them ensure their premises were up to the latest Fire Safety Regulations, with the aim of preventing fires and creating a secure environment where people could evacuate safely.

The Misbourne School, based in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, first opened in 1956 and had only 25 students. Today, the school welcomes approximately 1200 students and has become a true community known for providing a happy, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

As an educational institution, The Misbourne has a legal obligation to ensure the safety of their pupils and staff. Panache Fire Services carried a full Fire Door Survey to identify possible hazards on the schools' premises and then undertook all remedial works to provide adequate fire protection within the fire doors, glazing and compartmentation.

In response to the school’s requests, Panache Fire Services have demonstrated their flexibility, by working diligently to ensure that the work was finished by the end of the school holidays. "We have made sure to complete all works outside of school hours to prevent any disruption." - Said our commercial director, Mark.

"We are so pleased with the quality of Panache's work. We would recommend them to anyone." L. Kelly - Site Manager

We're delighted to say that, thanks to our team of engineer's hard work, The Misbourne School is now fully compliant with the Fire Safety Regulations.

Not only do their new Fire Doors provide excellent fire protection but they also give the school a great polished look!
